I’m a Singer/Songwriter living in Cincinnati, OH. I began writing songs as a teenager while sitting on the edge of my bed in Storrs, Connecticut. My interest in music comes from my mom who turned me on to all kinds of music at an early age. Mostly into folk, she used to work around the house while listening to Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, and the soundtrack from HAIR. When my parents had parties, I would munch on hors d’oeuvres and watch people dance to Earth, Wind and Fire, Teddy Pendergrass and The Ohio Players. My mom even threw on some Chopin to help me relax when I couldn’t sleep. When I was 16, my family and I moved to Nashville, TN along with my Silvertone guitar and the five cords I had learned. After the shock wore off, I was happy to be there. There I learned more cords, wrote more songs and discovered what it meant when people talked about song structure. I kept playing and writing, I went to college, was in a few short-lived bands and eventually moved to Cincinnati. I’ve been playing bars and coffee houses for a while now. Enough about me?
